Attentive Listening

Our trained crisis intervention experts are compassionate and skilled listeners. They absorb each word and take in your story to understand your needs. And as trauma-related emotions arise, they will do everything in their power to help you process and manage them.

Medical Assistance

Trauma impacts your body and mind, but we can help you regain a holistic balance. As your recover, you will likely require physical and mental health assistance. Waymakers can help connect you with resources and referrals to meet these needs. You can breathe easier knowing you’ll get the care you need to fully heal.

Victim's Rights

Your Waymakers Victim Advocate is on your side. Always. He or she will offer support by educating you about the court system, helping you prepare a victim impact statement, assuring your rights are honored, and accompanying you to court appearances or law enforcement interviews.

Complete Resources

Moving forward can come with post-traumatic anxiety and stress, so we do all we can to make things easier. We can help you secure food, emergency lodging or clothing. And we offer an array of support programs, including assistance in applying for the state compensation program and restitution.
